  1. Joan and I popped over today after being told about the Orchard by Jill O'Connel. We'll be taking Mum (Jean) as soon as she feels up to it . She will like it very much, it's serene and secluded. A lovely spot, well done.

  2. Hi,
Why not make use of the south facing walls - for espalier style fruit trees?
Plant more climbers eg clematis, honeysuckle along stone wall where ivy is. Cut ivy back further! This is a lovely spot! Well done to have achieved so much. So calm!
I would love to help! I am the person who used to work in this very spot, but then there was a wooden cabin for all the workers,
    Yours faithfully,
    JPA

  4. re the sunny wall - we'd love to plant trained trees against it, but at the moment it's not safe. We're hoping for good news soon about repairs to the wall.
